Thanksgiving Church Service

Members of the Fiji Police Force had their combined Thanksgiving and Ratu Sukuna Bowl service at the Fiji Police Special Response Unit this morning.

The Acting Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu said it had been a challenging and demanding year for operations and despite a few incidents which had tarnished the institution’s image in as far as police services were concerned, he was thankful that many continued to dutifully conduct their work.

A/CP Tudravu said preparations towards the Ratu Sukuna Tournament had started on a positive note with the Fiji Police Cricket team securing the institution’s first win against the Republic of Fiji Military Forces, and now the onus was on the rest of the teams to follow the same path to victory.

While acknowledging that it would not be an easy campaign against the RFMF, he was optimistic that 2020 would be a good year for Police.
