STATEMENT

The investigation file regarding the death of Mesake Sinu has been submitted to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The file was sent to the DPPs Office on Monday for sanctioning.

Eight officers were questioned for their alleged involvement in the incident and the Acting Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu says disciplinary action will be decided once the DPP makes his decision based on the findings of the investigation.

We will comment further after the file is returned from the DPPs Office.
