Recruits Community Engagement

As the last batch of 2020 Basic Recruits Course round up their training before Passing out earlier next month, an important component of their training is Community Engagement which was recently conducted at the six villages of the Tikina Vugalei in the Tailevu Province.

The six villages visited were Visa, Nadaro, Tobuniqio, Namulomulo, Savu and Naimasimasi.

The objective of the Community Outreach Program was to empower, develop, grow, and educate recruits through the experience.

Members of the current Basic recruit’s course also conducted village organized activities arranged by the respective Turaga ni Koro’s and planted trees with the assistance of the Ministry of Forestry.

The day ended with entertainment from the Fiji Police Band.
