RESTORATIVE JUSTICE TRAINING OF TRAINERS


Twenty-five officers based at the Police Special Response Unit in Nasinu are undergoing a 3-day Restorative Justice Training of Trainers workshop facilitated by the Pacific Centre for Peace Building.

The workshop is aimed at strengthening the officer's abilities to manage disputes and conflicts.

Restorative Justice Officer John Tamani emphasized the need for restorative justice to be introduced in all areas of policing and encouraged participants to train officers in their community posts or stations. Topics covered include;
