Fiji Day Parade Participants hosted

The Acting Commissioner of Police and senior officers hosted subordinate officers who participated in the 50th Independence Anniversary Celebrations National Parade held at Albert Park on the 10th of October.

A/CP Tudravu said as members of the Fiji Police Force they were honoured to have been invited by the Commander of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces Rear Admiral Viliame Naupoto to be part of the historic occasion.

He said the occasion marked a series of firsts for the institution with the first all women detachment and the first for the office of the Commissioner of Police to accompany the Commander in receiving his His Excellency the President of Fiji in reviewing the Parade.
