Western HQ celebrated Pink-tober

The Western Division Women’s Network based at the Lautoka Headquarters and the Lautoka Police Station commemorated Pink-tober yesterday.

Guest speakers for both events were Doctors from Lautoka Hospital who spoke on the importance of early detection as it could save lives.

At the Western Division Office celebration, Deputy Divisional Police Commander, Superintendent of Police (SP) Pita Keni said no one is immune to Cancer and encouraged everyone to go for regular screening.

Lautoka Police Station personnel managed to raise $1,320.00 during the celebration and the money was handed over to a representative from the Fiji Cancer Society.
