Fiji Day Medal parade in South Sudan

Members of the United Nation Mission in South Sudan Fiji Contingent held their medal parade in celebration of Fiji’s 50th year of Independence.

The parade was held at the Bangladesh Military Camp which supported by the Commanding Officer and officiated by UNMISS Commissioner of Police Unaisi Vuniwaqa.

The UNMISS Commissioner congratulated the medal recipients on their achievements and reminded then on their commitment to prevent Sexual Exploitation and Abuse in the Mission and Secretary Generals Zero Tolerance Policy against SEA.

Later in the day Fiji Day Celebrations were held at Fiji House.
