West farewells K-9 Quake

K-9 Quake was buried today at the Vitogo Community Post Dog Kennel with senior members of the Western Division Police Family present.

K-9 Quake was 3 years old and was transferred from Suva on the 10th of September.

He was able to assist in tracking down suspects and had been instrumental in Police Operations in the West during his short stint with the K-9 Unit in the Division.

K9 Quake passed away earlier this week after falling ill while deployed on a track finding duties.

Deputy Divisional Police Commander, West (DDPC/W) Superintendent of Police (SP) Pita Keni said K-9 Quake said K9 Quake was a valuable respected member of the Policing family and had greatly assisted policing operations.
