Five arrests for breach of curfew restrictions were recorded from 11pm last night to 4am this morning.
The Western Division recorded four cases while the Southern Division recorded one case.
The arrests made in the Western Division were recorded in Lautoka and Nadi and involved men who were all drunk during their time of arrest.
The lone arrest made in the Southern Division involved a 27year old man who was drunk and causing trouble outside a closed supermarket in Lami as he wanted to buy liquor during curfew hours.
As we head into a busy weekend we hope that everyone will plan their activities well ahead of time to avoid being caught out during curfew hours.
Do not hesitate to call the National Command Center on 9905296 or the Chief Operations Officer on 9906859 should you face any emergency situation that will require you to move during the curfew hours of 11pm to 4am.
With the high number of arrests linked to the over consumption of alcohol we ask that people enjoy themselves responsibly and drink in moderation.
