The Fiji Police Force Director of Corporate Services (DCS) Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Vilimoni Komairasea will be travelling to the United Kingdom (UK) this Saturday, as part of the Pacific cohort for the International Leadership Programme at the College of Policing.
The Commissioner of Police, Rusiate Tudravu congratulated SSP Komairasea and wished him well for the four weeks training at the prestigious College of Policing.
The UK in Fiji is committed to partnering with Pacific Island Police Forces, strengthening Pacific island policing, building on historical links by supporting leaders.
British High Commissioner Kandar Hossein-Bor met up with SSP Komairasea on Tuesday and also wished SSP Komairasea well.
SSP Komairasea is a former Manager for Research and Development Unit at the Fiji Police Academy and is also a former Officer in Charge of Samabula Policing District (OCPD/Samabula).
He also held the post of Divisional Police Commander Southern (DPC/S) and former Director of the Fiji Police Force Human Resource.
He holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Peacekeeping, Post Graduate Diploma in Language & Literature and Master of Educational Leadership from the University of Fiji.
This will be SSP Komairasea’s first trip to the UK, adding he is looking forward to the training, and proud to be representing Fiji under the Fiji Police Force banner.
