Reset advisory team courtesy visit to Compol


The head of the Fiji Police Force Reset advisory team yesterday paid a courtesy call on the Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu.

Former New Zealand Police Commissioner Mr Mike Bush said the team had begun its second and final round of consultations with? members of the Fiji Police Force ?as well as external stakeholders.

Mr Bush said the Reset?'s main focus was to provide practical guidance on how to implement the team's recommendations, which are aimed at achieving excellence in law enforcement.

Mr Bush said rebuilding the trust and confidence of the Fijian people through ethics, integrity and operational capabilities was key to their work.

Commissioner Tudravu said he was keen to work with Mr Bush and his team, noting that they shared a common vision of enhancing professionalism in law enforcement as all police organisations strived to be the best.

Mr Bush was accompanied by the Australian Federal Police's Senior Officer Suva, Detective Superintendent Grant Liddy.
