three men arrested for illicit drugs

Three men were arrested yesterday for being in possession of illicit drugs.

The Police K-9 Unit stopped a vechile along Waiyavi, Lautoka, and searched a 26-year-old Mechanic of Sabeto Central and a 32-year- old man of Duna Place in Nadi Town.

After a brief searched by the K-9 Unit, 2 clear plastic containing white substance believed to be methamphetamine were found.

A Public Service Vehicle (PSV) driver of Cunningham was arrested after he was found with some seedlings believed to be marijuana.

A team from the Fiji Dog Detector Unit (FDDU) and the Police K- Unit conducted a drug raid at his home yesterday found seedlings believed to be marijuana.

All three men are in Police custody as investigation continues.
