Stolen items recovered

The Central Crime and Criminal Investigations Department Operations conducted two raids at the homes of individuals believed to be receivers of stolen property.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations (ACP) Livai Driu said the raids were conducted in a settlement in Tamavua and Toorak this morning, whereby several laptops, a camera and assorted items all believed to have been stolen were seized.

ACP Driu said the raids were consistent with divisional efforts of dismantling the markets of stolen items as a means of countering the offences of theft and robbery.
