Woman Charged

A woman has been charged with two counts of causing harm by Posting Electronic Communication, contrary to section 24(1) and (2) (a) of the Online Safety Act, 2018.

The accused allegedly bullied, incited hatred messages and allegedly using vulgar language online.

Police have questioned other people in relation to the allegations.

The Fiji Police Force is again urging social media users to be responsible when suing these platforms.

The woman will be produce at the Nadi Magistrate Court this afternoon.
