Man Charged

A 49-year old man residing in Nadonumai Settlement, Lami has been charged with five counts of Malicious Act for allegedly broadcasting live videos condemning the COVID-19 vaccine and maliciously spreading false news against Government, Religious and Traditional leaders and members of the disciplined forces.

The accused allegedly posted five live videos during the month of June 2021 where he also made mention of declaring war in Fiji.

The accused will be produced at the Suva Magistrates Court today.
