Fifty-Seven cases of breaching the Curfew Orders and the Health Restrictions were recorded over the last 24-hours.
The Southern Division recorded thirty cases including seven people who were all found drinking grog at Cunningham in Suva, four were found loitering along the Nanuku area in Vatuwaqa while five cases of breaching curfew orders were recorded at Raiwaqa.
Two men in their 20’s were found intoxicated at the Lagilagi Housing area in Raiwaqa, while five other cases related to alcohol were recorded at Navua while a 20-year-old man was found loitering at Samabula during curfew hours.
Three men in their 20’s were found drunk and loitering along the Nepani area while three other cases of loitering during curfew hours were recorded at Tacirua.
Of the eighteen cases recorded in the Western Division seven people were found drinking alcohol at the Vakatora Housing playing ground in Lautoka while a 31-year-old taxi driver was found carrying more than 50%passenger capacity.
Three men in their 20’s were found drunk during curfew hours in Lautoka while seven people were arrested for kava consumption in the Namaka area.
The Eastern Division recorded nine cases whereby six men including a woman were arrested for intoxicated at Nakorovou in Rewa, two men in their 20’s were found loitering at Naivicula during curfew hours while a 35-year-old farmer was found loitering at Davuilevu Housing during curfew hours.
The Northern and the Central Division recorded nil cases.
