7s players farewelled


The Acting Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu has demanded a win from six members of the Force who are part of the Fiji Rugby Sevens team that departed for Australia over the weekend.

The Head of the Institution bids farewell to the seven’s heroes on video call before they depart for National Duties recognizing their commitments in being part of the National Team.

He reminded them that they are now Fiji Ambassadors and the whole country will be rallying behind them for a win.

“As members of the Discipline Force, I expect you to maintain discipline and professionalism.

Play for victory so that you bring joy to all Fijians especially for all those that are working as front liners during this COVID-19 Operations,”.

The Police Officers in the Fiji Sevens Rugby Team are Constable Kitione Taliga, Constable Kalioni Nasoko, Constable Livai Ikanikoda, Constable Waisea Nacuqu, Constable Josefa Talacolo, and Constable Rusiate Nasove.

The Sevens team will participate in the Oceania Rugby Sevens tournament in Australia and will head out to Japan to take part in the Olympics.
