Breach of COVID-19 restrictions


Twenty-Six people were arrested for breaching Curfew Orders and the Health Restrictions for the last 24 hours.

The Western Division recorded seven cases whereby six people including a juvenile were all found drunk at the Toge playground in Ba while a 29-year-old man was found during curfew hours walking along Pillay Rd in Lautoka.

Nine people were arrested in the Southern Division including six farmers who were all found intoxicated at the Yarawa settlement in Serua while three others in their 20’s were found loitering and drunk in the Tacirua, Nadawa, and the Muanikoso area.

The Eastern Division recorded six cases whereby three were found walking along the Wainibuku area during curfew hours while three others were found drunk at the Dravuwalu settlement in Tailevu.

The four cases recorded in the Northern Division involved four farmers who were all found intoxicated at Vunivau in Labasa during curfew hours.
