Constable Suliano Birthday

It took the Acting Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu to remind Police Constable (PC) Suliano Surumi that it was his 21st birthday while he was on duty.

PC Suliano was at Colo I Suva checkpoint last night when the head of the organization visited and wishing him well for his big day despite the cancellation of his celebration.

The Acting Commissioner accompanied by the Force Chaplin Rev Waisale Tikowale and the Deputy Divisional Police Commander South Acting Supretendent of Police (SP) Jone Banuve made this unexpected visit to PC Suliano last night as he was manning the checkpoint.

Originally from Somosomo in Taveuni, PC Suliano said plans were already put in place by his parents for his birthday but the Pandemic restrictions had other plans.

Despite the celebration cancellation with his loved ones, PC Suliano vows to do whatever he can to make sure that Fijians are taken care of and protected.

He said that serving the people is the beauty of being a Police Officer.
