Drugs Arrest

Swift action by Ba Police successfully led to the arrest of a 48-year-old farmer of Varoko and a 38-year-old driver of Koronubu.

Both were alleged to have been involved in drugs.

The two suspects were traveling in a vehicle and were stopped at Namau yesterday afternoon following information received.

Officers upon checking the vehicle had seized 17 bundles of dried leaves consisting of more than nine hundred branches packed inside a bag.

Both are in custody waiting for the test results.
