Breach of COVID-19 restrictions

Thirty-Eight cases recorded over the last 24-hours for breaching of Health Restrictions and Curfew Orders are alcohol-related while eleven cases are for kava consumption.

Two people were arrested for crossing of containment areas while six cases were recorded for social gathering as they were celebrating a birthday at Nakasi.

Of the fifty-seven cases filed the Western Division recorded eleven cases, Twenty Six for the Southern Division, eighteen for the Eastern Division while two people were arrested in the Northern Division for drinking alcohol at Savusavu.

Of those arrested over the last 24- hours five are military officers and a police officer who all amongst five others were found intoxicated at the Narere area.
