As officers continue to engage with the COVID-19 operations, the need for them to find more time to sleep and rest well is vital as it's part of nature.
The Fiji Police Force psychologist Mr.Nicholas Fuata this morning presented a wellness approach during the Acting Commissioner’s Skype brief whereby he encouraged the above and that taking good care of a body and mind can make a difference in how healthy officers are in general including operations and how well they cope with change.
The meeting involved all Divisional Command’s group listening from their division via skype and was advised that most of the cardiac arrests of young people today are caused by lack of sleep.
In a bid to maintain the momentum during this operation period, Mr. Fuata from a scientific viewpoint encouraged the Senior Hierarchy of the Force to relax when they have time to and in a similar sense, the Head of the Institution Rusiate Tudravu had also advised members of the Command to see that duties assigned in such a way to avoid stress and disorders for members of the Force.
