Man CHARGED
A 22-year-old man alleged to have been involved in a burglary case whereby he broke into a shop at Nausori town early this week has been charged.
The accused has been charged with One Count each of burglary and theft and will be appearing at the Nausori Magistrate Court tomorrow.
He is alleged to have entered the shop through the bulk room window and stolen assorted items including cash worth more than $12,000 on Tuesday night.
The shop owner while entering the shop yesterday morning had discovered items stolen from where it was before alerted Police.
The accused was identified through CCTV footage and was arrested from his place yesterday afternoon with all items recovered.
