More breach of restrictions arrested made

Twenty-two people from Nakalawaca village in Tailevu were appearing in court yesterday for failing to comply with the COVID-19 restrictions in place.

All have been charged with one count each of failing to comply with orders under the Public Health Act and will reappear on the 14th of next month.

The Namara villagers were caught while carrying a body and entering into the greater Logani lockdown area by sea on Tuesday.

They were traveling in three separate boats and off that number, 11 are women.
