Joint Search Conclude

A joint search team involving divers from the Police Special Response Unit and officers from within the Eastern Division ended their operation this morning after the body of a 39-year-old woman was found.

The team pursued the searching effort despite the adverse weather condition over the weekend after the victim was alleged to have jumped off the Rewa bridge on Saturday.

The body was found floating at the Wainibokasi river this morning Investigations continue.

Police also acknowledged the support provided by the Public towards the search in the past few days.
