Livestock Recovery

A man in his 20s will be produced at the Tavua Magistrates Court today charged with theft of livestock while two others were also taken into custody for their alleged involvement in the similar cases.

Between February to March, three reports of livestock theft were recorded from Dakavono, Toko, Vatukoula.

All three cattle were recovered earlier this week at a vacant grazing land in Vatukoula and returned to the complainants by Police.

This morning investigators managed to arrest two men who were also allegedly involved in a series of livestock thefts in the Vatukoula area.

Investigations continue.
