Fatal Accident

The driver of the taxi involved in an early morning accident along Veisari has passed away.

The victim who was residing in Davuilevu was returning from dropping off passengers in the Namosi area when the unfortunate accident occurred.

Information gathered that he was feeling unwell which resulted in his inability to control his vehicle causing it to veer onto the opposite lane, and collided with an oncoming truck.

He had previous medical history and a post mortem will be conducted to ascertain the victim's cause or death.

Investigations continue.
