Opening of Inspectors Qualifying Course

Fifty-one officers currently undertaking the Inspectors Qualifying Course were reminded of the value of human resources as leaders and administrators.

The reminder was issued by the Acting Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu while officiating the opening of the one month course at the Fiji Police Academy earlier this week.

“Inspectors are required to be effective administrators and leaders because you bridge the gap between the senior hierarchy and junior ranks".

"You are looked upon to give guidance while at the same time cascade the intent of the Command to those under your leadership”.

The Acting Commissioner said as leaders they had to have empathy and understanding and know that their leadership styles would determine how the officers under their command would be able to produce the required outputs needed to achieve the organisation's intent.
