Fatal Accident
A man in his late 20s residing in Sawani is believed to be Fiji’s latest road fatality victim.
The victim was driving along Princess Road near the Waila Treatment Plant when he allegedly lost control of his vehicle causing it to veer off the road and landed in a drain.
The incident occurred after 8pm last night.
A post mortem examination will be conducted to ascertain the victim's cause of death.
The road death toll currently stands at five compared to two for the same period last year.
