Drugs raid

More than five hundred plants believed to be marijuana was uprooted from a farm in Takuinadi settlement, Nawairabe, Navosa following information received.

The raid was successfully conducted by the Drug Operations Team yesterday after spending a night at Sawene village due to flood and the unfavorable weather conditions.

The owner of the farm is yet to be identified.

Chief Operations Officer ACP Abdul Khan while acknowledged contributions from the public in terms of information would also like to re-iterate that drug operations will continue in 2021.
