STATEMENT

A preliminary investigation has been directed by the Acting Commissioner of Police into a social media post claiming the alleged involvement of police officers in an alleged case of police assault circulated in social media.  

The  Acting Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu has directed the Internal Affairs Investigations Unit to investigate the claims made and anyone with information that could assist with investigations is requested to call the Internal Affairs Office on 9905 627.
