Six members of the Fiji Police 7s team were reminded of the importance of maintaining discipline on and off the field as representatives of the Fiji Airways Men’s and the Fijiana Women’s 7s.
Police Constable (PC) Joseva Talacolo, PC Waisea Nacuqu, PC Terio Tamani, Police 7s team members Filipe Sauturaga and Adi Mereani Rogosau and Fijiana Women's 7s Assistant Coach Apenisa Nasilasila presented their i-tatau to the Commissioner of Police Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho this morning.
The head of the Fiji Police Force stressed the importance of being good ambassadors of Fiji, the organisation, and the sport of 7s rugby.
Brigadier General Qiliho said it was imperative to maintain discipline at all times as any case of ill-discipline will reflect negatively on their rugby and professional careers.
He wished them well and reminded them that they were also representing their respective families and vanua.
The teams will leave for Dubai tomorrow.
