Former Suva lawyer found with substances believed to methamphetamine and marijuana


A former Suva lawyer is back in Police custody after he was allegedly found with substances believed to be methamphetamine and marijuana.

The suspect was arrested by a team of officers from Totogo when they saw him acting in a suspicious manner while driving along Milverton Road this afternoon.

He was escorted to the Totogo Police Station where he was searched and allegedly found in his possession were clear plastics containing white substance believed to be methamphetamine.

Sachets of dried leaves wrapped in foil believed to be marijuana was also discovered.

The suspect remains in custody while the seized substances have been taken for analysis.

Investigations continue.
