Commissioners courtesy visit Ministry of Lands and Mineral Resources


The Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu this morning paid a courtesy visit to the Ministry of Lands and Mineral Resources Permanent Secretary, Paula Cirikiyasawa where they discussed details of an existing Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in relation to the nature of collaboration between the two departments.

The nature of the MOU sees the two departments collaborate through operations and compliance with regards to the enforcement of relevant legislations pertaining to the work of the Lands Department, and information sharing, resources and facilities to enhance the effectiveness of each parties roles and responsibilities.

The Commissioner of Police was also briefed on the status of the land where all police institutions are located.

The meeting ended with a mutual agreement to furthering collaborative efforts in the spirit of the MOU.
