Moa signing with port denarau marina limited

A memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was signed today between the Fiji Police Force and the Port Denarau Marina Limited (PDML).

The agreement was to formalize the two organizations joint effort in border control surveillance, enforcement and security for everyone including our visitors.

PDML has provided a Police booth for the maintenance of law and order on the facility and also a space to berth its Patrol Boats.

Acting Commissioner of Police Juki Fong Chew said the partnership is essential in the efforts of protecting everyone that comes to Port Denarau.

“Fiji Police Force is glad that this partnership has finally materialized and moving forward we can continue to work together to minimise issues that affect tourists or anyone coming over to Port Denarau,” said Mr Chew. 

 The Acting Commissioner believes that working with PDML and other stakeholders on the premises will assist the Fiji Police Force in combating crime.
