24 YEAR OLD MAN CHARGED FOR MURDER

Totogo Police have charged a 24-year-old man in relation to the alleged murder of a 24-year-old man in 2022.

The accused is alleged to have in April 2022, seriously assaulted the 24-year-old victim with an iron rod outside a motel in Suva, causing serious injuries.

He was rushed to the Colonial War Memorial Hospital where he unfortunately succumbed to injuries sustained during attack.

The accused has been charged with one count of murder and will be produced at the Suva Magistrates Court today.
