Double celebration for K9 Unit

NZ Deputy High Commissioner to Fiji, Alex Shahryar Davies said the Fiji NZ Police Partnership Program (FPPP) has reached a milestone which has enjoyed many success stories.

"We are monitoring the Media Releases where the Fiji Police Dog Unit are assisting in keeping the country safe. This is where our partnership blossoms and we are really proud," said Mr Davies.

Acting Deputy Commissioner of Police, Sakeo Raikaci thanked the NZ Government for the partnership program.

A special acknowledgement was directed also to NZ Senior Advisor and Dog Trainer Mr Wally Kopae for his assistance in working with the patrol dogs.

The Fiji Police Force also acknowledged the contribution by FPPP Senior Advisor Michelle Gillespie, the NZ Administrative Reform Advisor.
