COMMUNITY POST CLOSING WORKSHOP

Community Post officers of the Southern Division were reminded this morning that despite their ranks they were all leaders.

The Director of Training and Education Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Aseri Nakibo while closing their five days Community Post Officers workshop, said, “You are all leaders, despite your ranks, let no one take that away from you".

The Director Training said upon the conclusion of the training the important factor would be the implementation phase.

“Now it’s time for action, and to put into practice all that you have learned during the past few days.

Look after your officers on the ground, look after their welfare. You are the ones on the frontline doing the work out there, playing a significant role in the safety and security of the members of the community.”

SSP Nakibo said they needed to see the change on how they perform their duties in the communities after the workshop.

Director Training also took time to acknowledge the participants efforts during the festive session.

“You are the very ones engaging with the communities during the festive season.

The demand along with limited resources, you still manage to control the environment within your communities,” said SSP Nakibo.
