Another milestone for our Police Officers serving in the United Nations (UN) mission areas where two of our own became certified Instructors.
They are Acting Superintendent of Police (A/SP),Timoci Saqanaivalu and Acting Assistant Superintendent of Police (A/ASP) Fawini Kado.
A/SP Saqanaivalu is currently deployed to the United Nations Interim Security Forces for Abyei (UNISFA) and A/ASP Kado to the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS).
On the 11th January 2024, the two were certified by the United Nations as “Certified Instructor for United Nations Selection Assistance and Assessment Team – Assessment for Mission Service.”
The two officers attended the Training in Entebbe, Uganda.
This is an achievement for FPF since this is the first time to have two officers certified at the same time.
A/ASP Kado is the sixth woman from the Fiji Police Force who has been certified as SAAT/AMS Instructors and A/SP Saqanaivalu is the second man to be certified.
The Fiji Police Force acknowledges the achievement by the two officers.
