Officer in Charge of Criminal Records Office (OC/CRO) Acting Assistant Superintendent of Police Merelea Dileba Drotini was today farewelled by the Acting Commissioner of Police Juki Fong Chew.
She will be the second female Police Officer going for the United Nations Interim Security Forces in Abyei (UNISFA).
ASP Drotini has been in the organization for 25 years and this is the first time she will be going for a UN Mission.
The Acting Commissioner congratulated ASP Drotini for her appointment and reminded her of the image of the Fiji Police Force.
“Remember your family. You won’t only be representing them at the mission area but you will be representing the Fiji Police Force and the Government of Fiji,” said Mr. Chew.
The Acting Commissioner has also encouraged ASP Drotini to utilize any training opportunities that may come her way while in the mission areas.
ASP Drotini hails from Vuma, Levuka, Ovalau and has been in in the Fiji Police Force since 1995. She departs our shores for UNISFA this Friday.
