Thanksgiving Service

The Acting Commissioner of Police Juki Fong Chew has urged everyone at the Fiji Police Headquarters to be ready for 2024.

The Acting Commissioner urged everyone during this morning thanksgiving service at the Police Headquarters as they also reflect on the past eleven month.

“I was appointed on the 27th of January this year to be your Acting Commissioner. Looking back at 2023, we, not I, we have achieved a lot. There are some areas we need to improve on but I cannot do it alone, we can do it collectively,” said Mr Chew.

Despite the challenges and all the negative things encountered in 2023, the Acting Commissioner urged everyone to continue to do good.

“What good, we can do to support the Fiji Police Force? Whilst we are here in this organization, in this world still living and breathing, continue to do good, to everybody. Either that person has done bad to you, you must continue to do good. You will not lose anything, you will not feel bad, and you will not feel guilty.”

Mr Chew has urged everyone to remain positive and remain humble as they welcome 2024.

The Acting Commissioner sends his deepest appreciation to all the members of the Fiji Police Force for the work done in 2023 and is hopeful that 2024 will be a prosperous year for the organization.
