HQ Women's Award

Women of the Police Headquarters were acknowledged for their contributions towards policing by the Acting Commissioner of Police, Juki Fong Chew.

This was during their awards event on Friday night which saw women from Police Headquarters at CenterPoint, Police Command and Coordination Center, Tourist Police Unit, Crime Stoppers, Transport Division, Fiji Police Academy, Police Mobile Force and the K9 Unit coming together in celebration.'

The Acting Head of the organization said women in the Force have proven that they can perform any task at hand in terms of Policing.

He also reminded them that partnership is an important element in their line of work.

"I always keep saying this that partnership is the way to go. We cannot work in isolation anymore," said Mr. Chew.

He also acknowledged the presence of the New Zealand Police counterparts and thanked her for empowering Police Women around Fiji.

The Acting Commissioner wished to acknowledge all the women in the organization for their efforts towards Policing this year.
