With heavy hearts, the Fiji Police Force today bid farewell to the late Police Constable 8031 Unaisi Kotoyawa.
Described as a person who served with dedication and passion during the course of her duty.
The Acting Commissioner of Police, Sakeo Raikaci led the Police Delegations to farewell a young and a very promising Police Officer.
PC Kotoyawa was 23 years and 5 months old during the time of her passing.
She passed out from the Police Academy on the 10th of July, last year.
Her first posting was at Sigatoka Police Station where she served for a year and three months.
She passed away on the 12th October, 2023 at Lautoka Aspen Hospital.
The Officer in Charge of Sigatoka Policing District (OCPD/Sigatoka) Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Silio Finau described her as a dedicated member of the Fiji Police Force.
"She approached her duties with pride. going above and beyond to ensure the safety and security of the community she served, " said ASP Finau.
He adds that PC Kotoyawa's dedication to her work was an inspiration to her colleagues.
The Fiji Police Force, wishes to extend its deepest condolences to PC Unaisi Kotoyawa's family and loved ones.
