Natural Disaster Awareness

The Fiji National Disaster National Disaster Management Office (NDMO) yesterday hosted an academic session for more than 200 members of their stakeholders.

The Fiji Police Force is one of its key stakeholders and was represented by Officers who are directly involved with Operations from around the country.

The National Disaster Awareness Week academic session is been held at the Pacific Island Forum Secretariat.

With the National Disaster Awareness Week (NDAW) approaching, the participants will next week take part in scenario exercises around the Capital City.

This was also an opportunity for stakeholders to exchange ideas on how best they can work together during any Natural Disaster.
