Funeral of Late Mr. Dutt

Fondly remembered for his humility and respect for all, members of the Fiji Police Force bid their final farewell to the late Mr (Master) Naveen Dutt, a civilian member of the organisation.

The late Mr Dutt was a Curriculum Writer based at the Fiji Police Academy in Nasova and was 46 years old when he was called to eternal rest on the 24th of August 2023.

Mr Dutt began his career with the Fiji Police Force on the 10th of September 2020.

His service record of 2-years 11 months and 15 days while short, by no means was a reflection of his achievements as he had both a professional and personal impact on those he worked with.

The Assistant Commissioner of Police, Internal Affairs and Professional Standards (ACP) Sakeo Ganivatu led the Police delegation in paying the organisation’s last respects to Mr Dutt’s family in Wainibokasi today.

Having joined the organization with years of experience in the Education sector, the former Assistant Principal of Bhawani Dayal Secondary School had brought with him his vast knowledge and experience and assisted in the review and designing of training curriculums.

Delivering the organisation's eulogy was the Director Training Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Aseri Nakibo who said within the 2 years of service, Mr Dutt's used his knowledge of the Higher Education Policy and Procedures to develop, review, designg training curriculums.

Mr Dutt is survived by his wife Rajeshni Dutt and two children Nishkaam Dutt and Nitig Dutt.
