Case of Interest

A 59-year-old man died from burns allegedly sustained during a house fire along Ross Street in Nausori yesterday afternoon.

The victim was staying alone in the home.

Police and National Fire Authority officials responded to the call for assistance and found the victim.

He was rushed to the Nausori Health Centre and was unfortunately pronounced dead.

Joint investigations continue to ascertain the cause of fire.
