LAUNCHING OF FPF Annual Corporate Plan 2023-2024

The Fiji Police Force’s Annual Corporate Plan 2023-2024 was launched today by the Acting Commissioner of Police Juki Fong Chew where he called on the members of the senior command group to be forward-looking and be proactive regulators of law and order.

The 2023-2024 ACP also captures the recommendations made following the Fiji Police Annual Consultative Workshop in Suva held in Suva in March this year, where external partners with the likes of representatives from regional law enforcement partners, representatives from the media, members of the civil society, former diplomats, government stakeholders, retailers’ association, and retired police officers were invited to present their views of the operations of the FPF.

With the 2023-2024 Strategic Plan Theme “Optimum Service Delivery”, the Acting Commissioner said the monitoring of the implementation of the ACP would ensure accountability of command leaders.

“We are here to honour our commitment to our service to the people. We are approaching how we deliver our services in another dimension as we recommit our focus on signing the contract today. This means that you will be agreeing to effectively implement our Annual Corporate Plan and achieve our targets in the best interest of the organization and the people of Fiji”.

The Acting Commissioner stressed “You must remember that our services remain a key enabler for economic growth, development and prosperity. With the $183.7m budget allocated to us by the Government, we will continue to commit ourselves to our core duties and stride towards injecting more energy to our work and achieve milestones in this financial year”.
