"Be positive role model" - DPC WEST

The Divisional Police Commander West Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Iakobo Vaisewa had the honour of officially opening the Lautoka Coca-Cola Games Zone yesterday where he called on students to be positive role models and inspiration to others.

"If you want to make a name for yourself, today is that day to do it. This will be your platform to shine. I challenge you to break records, run faster, jump higher or further, throw the farthest. Make a name for yourselves in the sporting or in the Academic arena".

SSP Vaisewa cautioned the students that sporting rivalry had in the past turned ugly and reminded them not to get inolved in anything that could harm their future.

He also acknowledged the organisers, school teachers and sponsors for their efforts and wished all participating students the very best.
