Road Accident

A seven year old child is admitted at the Lautoka Hospital in stable condition after he was allegedly bumped by a vehicle driven by a 28-year-old man.

The incident occurred near Narewa Village, Nadi at around 6pm.

The incident occurred whilst the victim was running after a ball on the main road.

Investigations are ongoing.

Young children should never be allowed to play near busy roads and we again call on parents and guardians to please monitor and be vigilant of their children’s whereabouts at all times.
