Case of Interest

A 40-year-old man who was allegedly assaulted early Friday morning in Ba town, passed away at the Lautoka Hospital on Sunday.

The victim, a carpenter from Lavuci, Ba was found motionless with injuries on the morning of the 10th of March and was conveyed to the Ba Aspen Hospital and later transferred to the Lautoka Hospital where he was admitted in critical condition, up until he passed away on Sunday.

Investigators await the post mortem examination results as investigations continue.
